Egg Challenge 3: Traditional Egg Drop
Purpose and Directions
Purpose: construct the structure that will protect a raw egg from a fall.
Direction: Create a paper structure that is tested to adequately protect an egg.
Evaluation

We made a paper parachute, six paper ballons for cushioning and a cylinders to make the structure stablize.

The class component testing didn't influence our final design. The testing went well. When the structure was dropping, the speed was not too fast and not too slow.

For cushioning, we used Gyubin's idea of making paper ballons and connecting it.

Our egg did survive. Because of the parachute, it allowed the structure to drop smoothly and slowly.

For future egg drop trial, I will make the structure heavier. Because the structure was light, while it was dropping, it wasn't dropping straightly because of the wind.
